The Brothers I never had

I always wanted to have little brothers but never been blessed to have one. Though I treat the people in the publication as my foster brothers and sisters, there are a few who really matters a lot to me. These people are really really important to me because, I like to think that they are the brothers that I am supposed to have but got lost somewhere in the delivery.

My Baby Brother--the artist.


Ren Angelo. I call him, baby Ren even if he is old enough to make his own baby. LOL.

Baby Ren is my first little brother in TN. Sweet and often misunderstood. Ren is a person who will always be willing to hug you when you need it the most and I like him best for this.

Ren is the best example of the line, "inosente sa paningin..." because he does look so innocent. He is childish and naive and prone to impulsive decisions.

Kapatid sa Labas--

Paul Denver. One of my favorite newbies in the publication. 1/8 chinese, 1/2 way li...

Paul is one sweet guy who could always make you laugh. Though there are times when I am not sure if he is joking or not because he could be really serious if he wants to.

The webmaster, he spends most of his time in front of the computer and would not go home unless threatened.

One thing I admire about him is that, even though he was born from a rich family, Paul is always humble and is never arrogant. He could blend in a crowd and get along with the people. Among the newbies, he is one of the few who had captured the heart of the staff easily because he is one person you can't help but like.

The world's best hugger---

Giancarlo. A.k.a Ang palos ng sibulan. Among my' brothers', he is my favorite because he is the one I could hug anytime. I love hugging him because he never complains and he is always willing to hug me back.

Aside from his hug, I also love his smell which reminds me of one other 'brother' who has exactly the same smell. I guess its also one reason why I love Gian the most. He reminds me of one other 'brother' who loved and protected me.

Gian is also the first one I look for whenever I get inside the office. My day is never complete if I could not hug him [or any of them, for that matter].

He is exactly the brother I am looking for. Somebody who would hug me when I need it the most and make me feel special with it.

The Singer

Justine. In a way, Justine is like my elder brother. And he is also one of my favorite people in the office.

One thing I like about this one is that, he is not just talented and good-looking, he is also intelligent. He is somebody you can talk to sensibly because among my little brothers, he is the only serious one.

Like my elder brother, Justine is a brother I cannot touch. I am always apprehensive to touch him because he seem to be the type who is not expressive of what he feels. Very like my brother.

But all the same, I treat him the way I treat the other three.

The Big Brother--

Junrell. Somebody I could always lean on and expect to be there when I needed the most. An ideal brother, he is always there to give an advise in my times of confusion. He reprimands me when need be, protects and cares for me ALWAYS.

He is always there to hug me when I'm down, take care of me when I neglect to care for myself, and treats me the way I expect an elder brother would.

He is the Kuya that anybody would want to have. He is the Kuya who never cease to be my kuya even if I am starting to become bratty.

One of the few who really made me special. One of the few who really made me feel that I belong. One of the few who never fails to lift my spirit. One of the few who will always be a part of me.

It doesn't matter if were not biologically related. Anyway, I always believe that DNA is not enough to be a brother, a sister or a parent to somebody. We may not be related but they will always be my brothers and I will always be a sister to them even if they don't want me to.

God did not give me a little brother for my own but He gave me the chance to know these people so I could love them as much as I would love my own brother.
