Second chances don't always work. Sometimes you have to get it the first time or never at all. You can't forever rely on the idea of a second chance because sometimes if it is not meant to work, it never will.
That is why we have to give our best ALWAYS because sometimes we are only given one chance to prove our worth and never again. They say opportunity comes only once, if you miss it then you miss it forever. Second chances only works in the movies, in books and any other works of fiction.
I seldom believe in second chances. I seldom believe in people redeeming themselves. I, almost often, do not give another chance to people who have failed me. I often think that second chances are a waste of time. I, of course, believe that people do change but I had always been distrustful.
Second chances sometimes work. But most the time it does not. You did once, you will do it again. It's a one in a million chance that you will not repeat what you did.
I can forgive. But it will always be hard to forget.
