I think everybody should learn to verify things first before they believe something.
In this world, you can never be sure when something is actually real or not and it would be dangerous to accept things at face value. Being skeptical from time to time could also be an advantage.
You can never really be sure if the person you are talking to is actually telling you the truth or not. It is important that we reserve a little bit of skepticism in ourselves to shield us from possible dangers. Verify. Verify.Verify.
This is what was taught to us in journalism.
