I don't know why but there are really times when I just can't bring myself to like children.
Though most of the times I like holding them and talking to them, hear them laughing or tell funny stories.
I just hate it when they start acting like brats; running around, screaming their heads off and demanding the world submit to them. I hate it when they start acting like little terrorists; throwing everything they could get their hands on, demanding these and that, and simply refuses any kind of negotiation. Its just so annoying!
There are also times when I like looking at them. I mean, children are generally adorable and cute and all that. I love the way their eyes lit up when they smile, their voices when they laugh, the half-formed words coming out of their little mouths just sounds so sweet. I love the way they struggle to walk, to move around, to survive. I love the way their eyes smiles, their batting lashes, their silly faces and yes, even the bubbles coming out of their noses. Just so cute!
But when the little angels starts to transform into little monsters, I just can't stand it. I prefer it when they just laugh and smile and do funny things but I really hate it when they start screaming and crying and start acting like little jerks. I think I would prefer if children don't grow at all, I mean they just remain babies because I think most babies are just happy and contented with their lives.
That is why, sometimes I find myself asking God to send me a baby brother or a baby sister (though I would really prefer to have a baby brother because I'm one jealous Frog, ayoko ng may kaagaw) but whenever I would imagine them growing up with tears in their faces and their mouths wide open as they scream at the top of their lungs, I change my mind.
Why can't babies and children just laugh all the time as they are more adorable with that? Do they really have to become monsters once in a while?
