"it's self explanatory..." it simply means, "You explain it yourself because I am not in the mood to explain it to you..."
"I want to have sometime for myself..."---> "I want to sleep so don't disturb me..."
"I feel like I'm dying..." ---> "I don't have allowance anymore and I think I'll most probably die of hunger before the week ends"
"I'll be studying..."---> "I'm planning to study but I will most probably be sleeping"

The Powers That Be is slowly choking us. Their hands are almost in our throats. Slowly they'll hold our throats and squeeze us. And what will happen if we give in? And what will happen if we surrender?
We are not indispensable but we are the ones who are willing to fight. What of the students that we swore to fight?
The world is getting dark and I hope we will find our way.
