even though it kind of sucks, I still love HP

It's all about HP6 movie:

Some things I think they ought to have included in the movie:
1. The actual scene in the first chapter with Dumbledore explaining to Aunt Petunia about Harry’s coming of age and what it would mean.
2. Fenrir Greyback’s attack on Bill
3. The Battle at the Astronomy Tower with some members of the DA and the Order of the Phoenix defending Hogwarts.
4. The funeral of Dumbledore and the conversation between the Minister and Harry. Darn, this would have been a more suitable ending.
5. Harry inheriting Kreacher and Grimmauld Place. I was kind of looking forward to this scene.

Scenes I didn’t like:

1. The Christmas at the Burrow with Bellatrix arriving and burning the Weasley’s house. Reason? Harry is a minor in the book and he shouldn’t have been allowed to use magic and this particular part is an essential point in the beginning of Book 7. Besides, what about Bill and Fleur’s wedding?
2. The Presence of guards walking to and fro in the hallways.
3. The Katie Bell affair. This is the scene I love most in the book but didn’t like in the movie. The reaction of Harry and the others are just so not convincing, not to mention the way Hagrid delivered his line. They look like they are in Professor Binns’ class instead of seeing Katie being cursed. There is no urgency in their reactions and their voices.
4. Lavender Brown. Is she supposed to be like that? Though I admit that her scenes are quite enjoyable to watch because she looks funny, I still think that the character of Lavender in the movie is more loony that Luna.
5. The Ending. So…disappointing.

Scenes to watch out for:

1. The Cave. Harry and Dumbledore retrieving the Horcrux.
2. The Dinners with Slughorn.
3. The Love Potion (poison) incident.
4. The Harry-Ginny kissing scene. (If you can call it “kissing”)

Well, I won’t say I didn’t like the movie. But it did fell short of my expectations (that’s the disadvantage if you have read the book a dozen times already). Still, HP Half Blood Prince is one of my favorite HP books in the series.
