thoughts to ponder by froglet.

Here are some of the things that I have come to realize after a few days of semi-solitary confinement with only my books and my phone.

♦ Everything has a reason. BUT, is the reason valid?

♦ It is better to fall in love with somebody who CAN'T love you than with somebody who DOESN'T want to love you.

♦ Most of the times people misunderstands the meaning of friendship. They think that friendship means saying "yes" when all you really want to say is "no".

♦ Trust is like virginity. Once it is broken, it is broken forever and no amount of tears could ever bring it back.

And here are some really fine points I got in some of my books.

♦ Moderation is a virtue, even in the realms of the imagination.-- Sam Hite in King of Slippery Falls

♦ It is does not do two dwell on dreams and forget to live.-- J.K Rowling in HP and the Philosopher's stone

And what constitutes evil, real evil, is the taking of a single human life. Whether a man would die tomorrow or the day after or eventually... it doesn't matter. Because if God does not exist, then life... every second of it... Is all we have.--Anne Rice in The Vampire Chronicles*

♦In spite of all the refinements of civilization that conspired to make art--the dizzying perfection of the string quartet or the sprawling grandeur of Fragonard's canvases--beauty was savage. It was as dangerous and lawless as the earth had been eons before man had one single coherent thought in his head or wrote codes of conduct on tablets of clay. Beauty was a Savage Garden.--Anne Rice in The Vampire Chronicles*

*these words were spoken by my beloved Lestat of course.

...and yes, I do believe in all these. I think these words, speak straight to the heart.
