But what are the advantages of a web directory?

First, it helps in increasing your web traffic. Especially for business-related websites, having a high traffic is important. More visitors means that more people are aware of your site. And to be able to gain more visitors in your site, it is good to include it in web directories.

Even in blogs for example. By registering your blog in a web directory, youe are introducing your blog to the world. More people gets to know of your blog's existence as well as updates.

Second, it makes it easier for possible clients and contacts to find your blog. Registering in web directories makes your blog searchable.
