But am I excited? Honestly, no. Christmas is just another day for me. New Year is just another holiday. The world will remain the same anyway. Christmas or not, the world will continue to be what it is.

Haven't slept well the past nights. Have to wake up really early everyday and sleep late at night or in the wee hours of the morning.

Meet a lot of High School friends in my workplace. So glad that they still remember me.

My phone is busted so I can't use my smart number. Won't make a difference anyway because nobody is texting me there even when its functioning well. ( Which now reminds me of Ritch suddenly singing, "walang nagmamahal..." when a whole day pass and nobody is texting.)

I miss Ritch. I remember that when November comes she would start singing Christmas carols and expect me to give her piso everytime she sings. Usually she does that in front of the mirror, wearing her tiara and playing with her hair or sometimes taking photos of her self.

As years pass, I realized something. Life becomes tougher as we grow older. Nobody really gets used to life. The moment you start thinking you had it figured out it slaps you hard in the face and turns your world upside down.

One more thing, I realized that patience is not enough to train up a child. Sometimes I think the Bible got it right, an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth is the only way to make them grow up right. And I have proved my theory that children are only cute when they are smaller.
