long nights, short days and a whole lot more.

I had been recently turned into a vampire. I wake up at dusk and sleeps at dawn. I haven't seen the sun for sometime now and I should say, I really miss it. In some ways, this vampiric life is nice since it allows me to sleep more than 10hours everyday. On the other hand, it also sucks since I hardly have a life being asleep the whole day.

Since the day I was turned, my daytime is consist of a few seconds to a few minutes of wakefulness filled with such interesting and mind-boggling activities like going to the bathroom to pee, checking the time and/or (in some instances) going to the kitchen to drink or find something to eat. There are some times when I could manage to escape the claws of drowsiness and I could force myself to leave my lair and watch a movie, buy cellphone load, go to the mall and stare at people or soak myself with sunshine--- just a simple act of confirmation that I am still alive and a part of this world.

And then what? Blessed sleep again until the sun sets and the moon rises (at least when it is not raining). Then I stay awake until dawn, talking to people I don't see, laughing with other vampires who also dreams of getting a life that includes sunshine and mall hours, and staying clear of the witch who must not be named (WWMNBN).

Speaking of the WWMNBN (what a long acronym), I was supposed to write something about her but then I realized, she's not worth writing about. There I've said it---curse me if you will!

Anyway, I kind of like this schedule that I currently have. Aside from the fact that I can actually sleep well, I also get a total of three days off considering that my shift ends at 6am and starts at 9pm. I also get more pay and more fun with the people I am with. Though I still believe this is the most boring job ever.

There's really not much happening around here. At least none that I knew of (which is not that reliable since I basically spend 90% of my time sleeping or forcing myself to stay awake). I guess the only exciting thing that happened so far is the opening of another Jollibee branch near the office which is really exciting for people who can't think of nothing else but sleeping and eating (like me). They say it's 24 hours but the last time we went there (2am, lunchtime) they were close and told us to go back at 5am. That really suck man! I was so hungry and excited (which is not a good combination) to eat calorific foods and news made me lose appetite.

Aside from Jollibee and The Witch, the only interesting thing happening here is the payday and the after-shift activities that drains my pocket and energy. And nothing else. Nada!

So,this is how it feels to be a Vampire. This is how it feels when you don't see Mr. Sun as much as you want. It feels good. Then again, it feels bad.
