the root of my poverty: discontent.

i love gadgets. i really love gadgets. i like phones, cameras, computers, tablets, mp3/ipod, etc. if only i can have them all. my heart is yearning to own them. if i can have one gadget that contains all the features i want, i will be happy. probably.

that's the problem if you are a tech-inclined person. gadgets are always upgrading. the moment you purchase one, a new and better version comes in. you are always yearning for something better than the one you have. you are constantly upgrading and replacing.

i wish i am rich enough to buy these gadgets. =(

here are some i wanted the most (as of this moment, that is.):

1. Sony Xperia Ray:

i always love sony ericsson phones. even though maintenance and repair for these phones are way too expensive, the quality is good. i especially love the camera and music features for the phones. the xperia, however, has more than that. it's an android phone which means with this phone, i can have internet, mp3 and good camera in one gadget. but it is expensive. i saw one in Robinson's and it costs more than P15k

2. nikon d3100 DSLR camera

i am not a good photographer and i know that the kind of camera that you have is useless if you yourself does not know how to use it. i know that i need to practice a lot so that if the time comes that i can already afford to buy a DLSR camera, i will be able to use it to its full capacity. but i also know that i really really want this camera.

this is not the best among nikon's long line of high quality cameras but i don't care. this is the one that i am more likely to afford plus this is a beginner camera and i am a beginner. probably when i get this, i will again find myself wishing i have a better gadget. such is the tragedy of a discontented heart. =(

3. Ipod Touch

i think its cool to have one. music and games on the go plus videos and more apps. my feelings for this device is more on the "because-its-cool" level which is not a good basis when buying things. i honestly admit i want to have one because its cool. so if i ever get the money, this device is at the very bottom of my list. although, i still want to have one of course.

well, these are three gadgets i really want to have right now. although, i will not say no if there is anyone here who wants to give me an iPad2 or an iPhone 4s. that would be super-cool dude! of course, i cannot afford any of this. not yet. i'm not sure if i ever will.  i'll probably just keep on dreaming in the meantime.
