what's with the nail?

Nail polish nowadays is no longer just something that you paint on your nails to make it look attractive... it has now become a medium of self-expression.

Most of my friends are already aware how addicted I am to Nail Art and how conscious I am with my nails. every other week I have my nail design change. There are times when I would be so busy and I would opt to apply polish to my nails instead of visiting the spa and have it done. I don't like seeing my nails bare because I like growing it long and dirt easily gets in.

Another reason why I like having my nails painted is because it allows me, a person with no artistic talent, to express myself through the designs I choose. Even simple nail polish can help us express our selves. Take for example, I usually choose dark or dull colors when I feel down and bright colors when I am happy. Usually, the designs I choose expresses my emotions at that point in time.

Of course, not everyone has the time to go and have their nails done regularly but this should not be a problem. If you are creative enough, all you need is a bottle or two of nail polish and you can design your nail however you want it. I remembered a college friend who does this before. Regardless of how busy our schedule is, she could always find the time to tinker with her nail polish and design her nails. I wish I can be creative.

If you are like me and has no artistic bone in your body though, you can always opt for home manicure services. Or you can simply chose one color that boldly expresses how you feel and apply it. I suggest you choose the right brands of nail polish though. Cheap ones usually have bad smell and chips off easily. If you are working in an office and you want presentable nails, best to invest in trusted brands or those nail polishes you have already tried before.

So go ahead and express yourself. Paint your nails the same way you would like to paint your world.
