I thought the main point of Facebook (and other social networks for that matter) is to help us connect with people regardless of distance and location. I thought that the concept of Facebook is to help us connect with our friends and family even when they are far from us. I thought that the advantage of social networks is to bridge the gap created by distance and geography.
Then what is the point of changing your name into something that even your friends can't identify? How will you connect with your friends when they can't even search your name or know who you are even when you are already in their friends list?
Really. Does it make sense?
