I wish I'm a witch so I can just flick my wand and cast a spell to silence my neighbors when they are being too noisy and I want to sleep. I would simply point my wand at them and say, "silencio" and they will be silent and i will have a peaceful sleep. Or, I can probably just cast "muffliato" to muffle the sound of their TV which is always too loud for comfort.
If I were a witch, i can sleep for as late as I can and will simply just apparate to work. I don't have to spend time waiting for a jeepney and I can be wherever I want to be in a blink. Or probably I can request for a portkey so I don't have to spend for plane tickets or bus fares.
If I were a witch, I will process my photographs so they will move and talk and transfer from one photo to another. But I will not put one in my room because that would be creepy right?
I also want to have a time-turner so I can be in two places at once. That way I can be both at work and in my bed. I can do two things at the same time. I can go back in time and do whatever it is I was not able to do.
If I were a really talented witch, I'd put an extendable charm on my bag and my socks, just like Hermione. Imagine how nice it would be like to put all my things in a really small purse and then put the purse in my socks. I can travel as carefree as I can yet still have all necessities. I can ride a plane without paying for a baggage allowance. Heck,I can probably put all the contents of my room inside my purse and carry it all with me wherever I go.
And of course, who wouldn't want to have an invisibility cloak? i wonder what wonderful things I can do if I have one.
Reality of course is that, I am not a witch and Hogwarts is not real. There are no spells that can change the rudeness of the people around you. There is no escape from traffic congestion. We can't go back in time and it is not possible to fit everything in a purse.
And since none of these is real, i will have to content myself with cursing my neighbors under my breathe, cover my ears and force myself to sleep.
Oh, to dream the impossible!
