My Love Affair with Xperia Mini: Part 2

Madame Xperia and I have this love/hate relationship. We're like a couple who's sweet and happy one moment and then on each others throat the next. These days, we're in bliss.

I have recently updated my OS to Ice Cream Sandwich being one of the lucky people whose batch number is on the list of units ready for the ICS upgrade. I was apprehensive of course since upgrading would mean I can never go back to the previous OS and if something happens to it I might lose Madame Xperia again. Seeing the positive reviews about Xperia mini and ICS in the sony support forum made me decide to upgrade.

So far, so good. No more overheating. Applications are no longer force closing. Browser is loading faster. Interface is smoother and cooler. Plus, it has its own photo editor! something I didn't have when I was using gingerbread.

I was tinkering with my phone yesterday and found the photo editor which is really cool. When using the browser, you can also minimize the page you are browsing and toggle to another screen. Something it never does previously. Email interface is also cleaner, easier to access mails.

As of this moment, we are at the "honeymoon stage". we are getting to know each other and is happy about almost everything. Let's see how this goes though. I'm not an expert when it comes to technology but I know for a fact that the line, "nothing is permanent" suits well with it. But for the sake of my sanity, let's just all hope it stays this way.
