where to?

So where do I go next?

Since the schedulers were good enough to give me straight-offs starting this week, I'm planning to spend those days wandering and making sense of my life.

BUT. WHERE.DO. I.GO. NEXT.?

There are a lot of choices of course. The province alone offers a lot of places to go to but I'm looking for somewhere specific. Somewhere where I can experience both nature and culture (something I missed about Mindanao) without spending a lot. I already have some target places in mind but I'm just not sure.

Is it the time to take an even greater risk? Well, that remains to be seen.

So far, here are some places I'm planning to visit:

1. Don Salvador Benedicto.

2. Hinoba-an

3. Guimbal, Iloilo

4. Capiz---specifically Camp Peralta at Jamindan and Roxas City

5. Miag-ao, Iloilo---want to take photos of the churches

6. Cebu City

7. Bohol

8. Guimaras

I think I'll go to Don Salvador first, stay there overnight. Then probably I'll go to Hinoba-an next time since both places are just here in the province. Then where to next? Miag-ao and Guimbal can be next then probably Capiz or Guimaras. Of Cebu and Bohol?---this remains to be seen.

But if given the chance (and the budget) I'll go to Mindanao. Anywhere in Mindanao. If I could just go back there one last time---then I could die.

the gypsy in me.

i'm a wanderer. my mind works best when i'm travelling. i feel a different kind of fulfillment and happiness when i'm travelling. and tomorrow, the gypsy in me will take over.

i am excited. i won't be going far but still, i will be out of the city and that's something i always look forward to.

after days and weeks of working, fielding calls, getting stressed and tiring myself out---a day out of the city and away from the hassles of my daily life is a luxury. a day with nature, a day with my element is a treat that never fails to lift my spirit and make me happy.

tomorrow i will make myself happy.

road trip.

I am about to leave Dumaguete. Don't know what time exactly the bus is leaving but what I do know is, it will be a very long ride--4-5 hours at the most.

whew. I am excited. I'm going to Bacolod via Canlaon---a place I have never been to before. After this trip,I could finally claim that I had been all over Negros Island. I wish Camee (my lost camera) is here to capture the moment.

Well anyway...my vacation in Dumaguete is a really memorable one and not only because I lost a prized possession. I saw my friends again and had fun with them. I just love being here.

I will miss you again Dumaguete...next month ulit!
