"Skeletons Closet": I'm on my way to greatness

[note this post an a other post entitle Skeleton's closet" is from my friendster blog which I like to share here...]

I want to write the greatest news story ever written. Then, i could die after.

Though i believe that being great is not the end-all and be-all of human existence, i acknowledge the fact that everybody has the potential to be great. In our own ways we can be great, and in my case, i want to be one of the greatest writers in the world.

[ Since my initial dream of being one of the greatest officers of the armed forces of the Philippines is far from reality i might as well settle on this one.]

I want to be a great writer.I want to win awards, be great, be recognized for my talents and be respected. I want my friends, my family, my people and my country to be proud of me. I want to be the best there is.

I’m on my way to greatness. I love to think that what im doing now is a step closer to my dreams. I will become a journalist. I will be helping people. I will write and speak for them. Then if the time comes that i could no longer keep pace with the speed of time, then i’ll go to the mountains and be the greatest hermit there is.

I will meditate, and fast, and pray, and sing, and dance, and do anything that i want to do. And in everything, i will be great. I will be the greatest singer of the mountains. The birds and the trees, together with the rivers and the breeze will listen to me and they will say that i am great.

I will be great. Someday i will stop dreaming and all of this would be real.

but as of now, ill keep on dreaming and be the greatest dreamer there is.

but as of now, ill be a simple student. Just like everything else, i will be one great student.

I will be great, because i work hard to be great.

and with that, i know i deserve to be more than a dreamer. I deserve to be the greatest.
