Its Independence Day.Yeah, 111 years ago General Emilio Aguinaldo declared Philippine Independence in Kawit, Cavite.
The only Philippine holiday that makes me giddy is unfortunately dampened by rain showers. Ughh. Never really liked rain. I always get irritable and quick tempered during rainy days. Fortunately it coincided with Independence day and the result is a bubbly-grinning like a drunk elf Frog Princess.
I know I got a lot of things to do but my mind is still on vacation mode. It reverted when the opening of classes was postponed so instead of an excited-like-a-freshman Frog Princess is a sullen and sleepy froglet.
Last week I was so excited for classes to startm, then classes were postponed due to the swine flu and my excitement vanished. Ughhh, now I'm wishing its summer all over again.
Duties. Duties. Duties. Next week is the start of hell-year. Overnights, regular classes, editing, assignments, projects and what-nots. Normal. Boring.
Carla went in our boardinghouse last night (she's a classmate and roommate and sisterette who graduated last march) and announced that she already has a job because she was accepted just that afternoon and will start working next week. *clap*clap*clap* A Congratulations to her!!!=)
Stupid me. I started the post with something about Independence day then I started blabbing about Carla, the rain and whatever.
*I would love to drink a steaming cup of milk and eat a big bowl of noodles...hmmmm!
