What future can we expect from this?
It really amazes me how a really exciting topic can turn into the most soporific subject there is under the tutelage of teachers whose tone never varies when discussing topics as exciting as wars and ancient battles.
It amazes me even more that some teachers would prefer to spoon fed their students by simply providing them with photocopies which the students have to memorize in return. Just memorize and you pass the subject. Perfect. So easy. Bullshit!
And what's more amazing is when these teachers starts bragging that their subjects are the easiest (or in some cases hardest) and make it sound like students should be thankful that they could get a passing grade. How can they not pass when teachers give them the answers to every exams? As in like literally giving the students the answers to the test.
Take for example, one of my teachers would require us photocopies for a particular topic. Then she would read from it and provide blanks which students have to fill in. You just have to underline the answers in your photocopies because when she gives the exams, she gives the same blanks in exactly the same sequence. Who wouldn't pass with that?
In times like this, I find myself wishing I'm in HS again. My HS teachers teach better than these instructors. God, are they even worthy to be called instructors?
