There are literally thousands of smartphone applications available in the Android market ranging from “you-must-download” to “who-in-the-world-would-download-this” types of applications. These applications can be useful or a total waste of memory space but one thing is for sure, there is one application out there especially designed to meet your needs.
Here are some applications I find very useful.
1. My Calender. As a woman, it is very important for me to keep track of my monthly period and it’s symptoms. This app gives a very accurate prediction of my next ovulation and menstrual cycle. It also comes handy when I have to visit my doctor. No more counting and estimating of days. Just grab your gadget and check. It also doubles as a diary. I find it really safer than online journals and diaries because aside from you can set it to be password protected, who would take the time to check someone else’s menstrual diary?!
2. Wattpad. For an avid reader, this application is heaven. Sure, it does not have books fron popular authors aside from some classic ones but it does contain a variety of books from various genres by very talented writers. I can spend the whole day just reading from Wattpad. If you are a writer and wants to be published but no one cares enough to give you a break, try submitting your work here and get the expoaure you need. I’m sure your book will reach more people and a much wider audience.
3. Viki. It’s an online video streaming app that gives you access to movies, music videos, and tv series all over the world. Well, that is if you like old movies, cartoons and mostly korean horror movies. It’s a great way to pass the time though.
4. BPI mobile app. To be honest, i am amazed at how convenient and reliable this app is. With the exception of activating the “transfer to anyone” feature, everything about this app is five star. With this app, you can check your account balance, pay bills and transfer funds between your accounts.
