A night with my cousins

Its been hours after the wedding of our Tito Pet-pet and a few minutes after I parted with my dear cousins. All I can say is that, this is one of the best nights of my life and I will always look back to the few hours I had with them.

It has been more than a year since the last time I saw my cousins from Bacolod and I was always looking forward to seeing them. I miss them. So much.

They have changed a lot. They are no longer the aloof, apathetic, engrossed in their own worlds cousins I once knew. They have evolved into amiable gentlemen and lady, so much better than their older selves. of course, they are much older now and more exposed to different kinds of people. They already know how to interact with the people around them.

The time I spent with them was field with laughter and joy. It was fun touring the Christmas house with them, crossing the streets holding their hands, taking/posing (for) pictures with them...

my cousins are a lot different from me but in a way, we are all the same. We differ in backgrounds yet we laugh at the same things, we share the same beliefs (or at least some) and of course, we have the same family names.

I love them and has always treated them as brothers and sisters. They will always be an important part of me. Where ever they go, whatever they do, and who ever they go with... they will always be the same cousins I laughed with tonight.

Its more than the family name. Its more than the blood we share. Its the love that will always be in us.

I wish we could remain like this forever...
