The longest road trip of my life? Traveling from Tagum City, Davao del Norte to Cagayan de Oro City via Bukindnon. God! I thought I'd die!...it was a gruelling nine-hour trip my classmates and I took when we had our On the Job training in Davao del Norte.
The trip was a bit scary because the fog was so thick and we were a bit scared that we won't reach CDO in time. Our boarding time for Cebu Ferry is supposedly at 7pm and it was already 6pm and we were still in Malaybalay because the bus has to travel slowly because of the fog.
Actually we did not have to travel that far if we only chose to travel via Butuan to Cebu but since we loved the view in Bukidnon so much, we chose to travel via BUDA instead. Sobrang tagal ng travel and sobrang kakapagod but I think its worth it. The view is amazing and the pine trees lining the highway reminds me of Baguio.
Aside from being my longest road trip ever, it was also the longest trip of my life. We were travelling nonstop for more than 24 hours. We left Tagum City at eight or nine in the morning of May 13 and I reached Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental at 5pm, May 14.
It was an exhausting journey that I would gladly take again. Hehehe...masochist? Nah, just enjoying!

Actually we also traveled via the same road on the way to Tagum City from Negros Occidental. If only we were not so blinded by our excitements, we would have known that CDO is actually located on the other side of Mindanao.
Akala namin neighbors lang sila eh...tanga talaga...it was our first time in Mindanao and we have no idea where to ride, or where to go...
If only we knew, di sana sa Gen San na lang kami dumaan or nageroplano na lang kami.
Pero...well, charge it to experience!

No! That's not the longest trip you took!
From the day that you were born until you die.... That's the longest trip!
And i believe you can make it with your foot onto success!
