When I'm rich enough to travel, I'm going to places I've always wanted to visit. I will travel and see the world, explore every cave, trek every mountain, discover new things, meet new people. I will dance in Rio, party in France, trek to Machu Picchu in Peru, see the alps of Switzerland, and drown myself in the Caribbean.
I will see the Acropolis, visit castles and beaches and lakes. I will climb mountains and explore caves. I will see Dracula's castle or King Ludwig II's Neuschwanstein Castle, the most beautiful in the world. I will go to the North Pole and the South Pole, I will go to the remotest and most secluded places on earth.
I want to see the Honeycomb Palace of Tibet, the Great Wall of China, the Wailing wall...I want to see everything that the world can offer. Hell, I'd even go and swim naked in the ocean!
Someday, i'm going to see the world and I'm going to take photos of everything I see and I will keep them all in an album so that when I'm old enough I could look at it and say, I've been there and I loved it!
I want to visit every country, every single country, of the world. I want to learn their culture, speak their language, live with them, eat with them.
I want to go to Africa and run with the elephants, and the lions, and hyenas (well, probably not the lions and the leopards and the tigers). I want to see the people and help them and care for them. I want to do something to ease their sufferings, lessen their hungers, make their lives better.
But before I do all that, I want to explore my own country first.
I will go to the furthest and most far flung areas in the Archipelago. I will see how my own countrymen live, how they speak, how they survive. I will travel anywhere in the country; from Batanes to Jolo, from north to south and east to west. I will visit every single place in the country and be with the people!
I want to live with the Mangyans of Mindoro, dance with the Manobos, dive with the Badjaos but I won't go into the mountains with the Moros (so scary!hehehe). I want to live with the Igorots, with the tausugs, Maranaos and all the indigenous tribes of the Philippines.
I want to learn to speak in Ilocano, Kapampangan, Pangasinense, Waray, Karay-a, Chavacano, Maranao...and hundreds of other dialects spoken in different parts of the country.
I want to be a woman of the world. I want to be a traveller. I want to make a difference. I want to learn.
And I still have a long way to go to fulfill all these. I hope I have enough time...
